Day 01: Cochin
The next morning, we went to the port city of Cochin, or Kochi. This place is famous as the Queen of the Arabian sea. Visit few places in Kochi, among which Fort Kochi and Mattanchery are highly memorable, and the sunset cruising in the evening was very good too. The stays at Taj Vivanta, as well as in the Villa Romantica, were highly memorable. have a poolside candlelight dinner in Villa Romantica. This made the Kochi stay a highly unforgettable one.
Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing
Day 03: Munnar – Periyar
Day 04: Thekkady
In the cool greenery in the forest of Thekkady. In Thekkadi, we also got to see Kathakali as well as Kalarippayattu. Kathakali is a type of dance-drama, whereas Kalarippayattu is a form of martial arts. Trekking and Bamboo rafting at Thekkady was a unique experience.
Day 05: Varkala Beaches
Visit Varkala beach, which is a cliff beach. Stay at Taj Gateway Hotel. While traveling to Alleppey from Varkala.
Day 06: Alleppey
When we reached Alleppey, we boarded the houseboat and had an overnight stay, enjoying the beautiful backwaters of Vembanad lake. They say that this place is the Venice of the east. and must try live fish fry on the boat was the best of the lot.
Day 07: Kumarakom – Lakes
Reach another beautiful place on the side of Lake Vembanad, called Kumarakom. Lake Song resort of Kumarakom is a very good place to stay.
